I admire your get up & go when the chips are down. However what kind of setup would put someone through this?

You lived in Japan, gave alot of your possessions away for free to return to Oz with a job with a Japanese Airline possibly in the pipeline. Now you've been offered a job with the Japanese airline in a country that you & your family love & you're all in Oz living in a house with no furniture and you're going to be separated from them while you return to Japan for training. It isn't really the CIA that you're joining, is it?

Due to personal family circumstances, Skymark has postponed my employment for the current course.
Hopefully the personal matters should be (favourably) resolved within the next couple of weeks, but my start date is uncertain.

First day in ground school today, and I'm knackered!
Talk about being thorough - it's CBT plus chalk and talk (you know, where you pull the aircraft apart, number the nuts, bolts and washers, and then re-assemble it).

The place is run very strictly - there are 2 set sessions for lunch, and staff are assigned one, or the other but no overlap.

Time to hit the hay and do some study in bed.

There were only 3 people who know what was said at the time this decision was made - the PARC representative, a manager from the airline, and me, so unless you are the PARC person - which I sincerely doubt - then you are full of cr@p
